HR1454: HR1454 Randall, Eric; honoring the life and memory; condolences

26 LC 129 1124 House Resolution 1454 By: Representatives Sanchez of the 42nd, McQueen of the 61st, and Cummings of the 39th A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Eric Randall; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 with the passing of Eric Randall; and3 WHEREAS, Eric Randall was born on April 22, 1967, in Rockville, Maryland, a beloved son4 of James and Beatrice Randall; and5 WHEREAS, he was united in love and marriage to his wife of 25 y ears, Berlin, and was6 blessed with a wonderful step-daughter, Brittany; and7 WHEREAS, Eric was the proud brother of Dr. Karen Randall, broth er in-law of Daniel8 Wasser, and the dedicated uncle to Mathew Wasser; and9 WHEREAS, he gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern10 for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his11 family and friends were admired by others; and12 H. R. 1454 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1124 WHEREAS, Eric served the City of Smynra as a City Engineer and Public Works Director,13 diligently and consciously serving the citizens of Georgia with pride; and14 WHEREAS, he was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation15 for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and by the example he made of his life, he16 made this world a better place in which to live; and17 WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous man, Eric will long be remembered for his love18 of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who had the great fortune of19 knowing him.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory of Eric Randall and express22 their deepest and most sincere regret at his passing.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the25 family of Eric Randall.26 H.
