26 LC 129 1204 House Resolution 1498 By: Representatives Dempsey of the 13th, Lumsden of the 12th, and Barton of the 5th A RESOLUTION Commending Johnathan Silver, Pepperell High School's 2025-2026 STAR Teacher; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, Johnathan Silver has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the5 vital role that he has played in the teaching profession and his deep personal commitment to6 the education of the students of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, Johnathan Silver has earned distinction for teaching excellence and has been8 honored as Pepperell High School's 2025-2026 STAR Teacher; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of his contributions to the education and welfare of young people10 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this bod y to honor the extraordinary11 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.12 H. R. 1498 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1204 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body commend Johnathan Silver, Pepperell High School's 2025-202614 STAR Teacher, and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to17 Johnathan Silver.18 H.
