26 LC 129 1302 Senate Resolution 853 By: Senators Wicks of the 34th, Harbison of the 15th, Anderson of the 43rd, Sims of the 12th and Davenport of the 17th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Sabrina Ke yrra Bradley; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Sabrina Keyrra Bradley served as a guardian of this3 nation's freedom and liberty with the United States Army, valia ntly and courageously4 protecting her fellow Americans from 1975 to 2005; and5 WHEREAS, she served in multiple leadership roles, including Eme rgency Plans and6 Operations Officer and Medical Logistics Officer, and commanded a Headquarters Company7 during the Gulf War; and8 WHEREAS, following her retirement from active duty, she continu ed federal service as a9 Hazardous Materials Investigator with the United States Department of Transportation; and10 WHEREAS, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Bradley has contributed more than 6,000 volunteer11 hours supporting veteran and community organizations including Employer Support of the12 Guard and Reserve, the National Association of Black Military Women, the Georgia Military13 Women, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, an d the Federal Bureau14 of Investigation Citizens Academy Alumni Association; and15 S. R. 853 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1302 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this extraord inary Georgian be16 appropriately honored.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body18 recognize Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Sabrina Keyrra Bradley's unwavering commitment to19 volunteerism and community service and commend her for her over 30 years of dedicated20 service to her country and state.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed22 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Lieutenant23 Colonel (Ret.)
