26 LC 112 3737 House Resolution 1485 By: Representatives Sharper of the 177th, Herring of the 145th, Reese of the 140th, Draper of the 90th, and Wilkerson of the 38th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Reagan Moore; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Reagan Moore, a 16-year-old rising junior at Hillgrove High School in Powder2 Springs, Georgia, was crowned Miss Georgia's Teen 2025, represe nting Miss Northwest3 Georgia's Teen at the Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition; and4 WHEREAS, Reagan earned Preliminary Awards in both Talent and Evening Gown during5 the 2025 competition, showcasing her poise, dedication, and excellence; and6 WHEREAS, Reagan's crowning as Miss Georgia's Teen 2025 came with a scholarship award7 and recognition for her outstanding performance throughout the competition; and8 WHEREAS, through her community service initiative "Dance, Fit, Uplift," Reagan has used9 dance and movement to promote physical, emotional, and mental wellness among youth and10 senior citizens, embodying leadership and service to others; and11 WHEREAS, as Miss Georgia's Teen, Reagan will go on to represent the State of Georgia at12 the Miss America's Teen National Pageant, a scholarship-based competition that celebrates13 scholastic achievement, leadership, and community impact; and14 H. R. 1485 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3737 WHEREAS, Reagan's accomplishments bring pride and positive recognition to her school,15 family, community, and the State of Georgia; and16 WHEREAS, her commitment to empowering others, academic excellen ce, and service17 exemplifies the highest ideals of youth leadership and civic engagement.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body recognize and commend Reagan Moore for her remarkable20 achievements as Miss Georgia's Teen 2025, her award-winning performance in competition,21 and her dedication to community service and leadership.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body extend the ir best wishes to23 Reagan Moore as she represents Georgia on the national stage at the Miss America's Teen24 competition and continues her journey of impact, purpose, and excellence.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appr opriate copy of t his resolution ava ilable for distribution to27 Reagan Moore.28 H.
