26 LC 129 1186 House Resolution 1482 By: Representatives Burnough of the 77th, Scott of the 76th, McQueen of the 61st, Berry of the 56th, and Bell of the 75th A RESOLUTION Commending and congratulating Gabysol Quiroz; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Gabysol Quiroz is being honored by the Clayton County Public Schools as the2 2025 Support Professional of the Year; and3 WHEREAS, for 12 years, Ms. Quiroz, originally from Panama, has served as a Parent4 Liaison at W.A. Fountain Elementary School; and5 WHEREAS, her work involves coordinating school-wide initiatives and acting as a primary6 point of contact for several programs; and7 WHEREAS, she is the designated contact for the school's Partner s In Education program,8 which focuses on building relationships between the school and local community9 organizations; and10 WHEREAS, Ms. Quiroz also assists families with the Parent Portal system, helping first-time11 users set up accounts and access student information; and12 H. R. 1482 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1186 WHEREAS, in recognition her outstanding contributions to her sc hool and the broader13 educational community, Gabysol Quiroz has been named the Clayton County Public Schools14 2025 Support Professional of the Year.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16 the members of this body commend Gabysol Quiroz and congratulate her upon being named17 the Clayton County Public Schools 2025 Support Professional of the Year.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to20 Gabysol Quiroz.21 H.
