26 LC 129 1202 House Resolution 1499 By: Representatives Dempsey of the 13th, Lumsden of the 12th, and Barton of the 5th A RESOLUTION Commending David Little, Armuchee High School's 2025-2026 STAR Teacher; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, David Little has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital5 role that he has played in the teaching profession and his deep personal commitment to the6 education of the students of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, David Little has earned distinction for teaching excel lence and has been8 honored as Armuchee High School's 2025-2026 STAR Teacher; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of his contributions to the education and welfare of young people10 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this bod y to honor the extraordinary11 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.12 H. R. 1499 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1202 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body commend David Little, Armuchee High School's 2025-2026 STAR14 Teacher, and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to David17 Little.18 H.
