26 LC 112 3769 Senate Resolution 886 By: Senator Mangham of the 55th A RESOLUTION Recognizing March 3, 2026, as Faith and Clergy Day at the state capitol; and for other1 purposes.2 WHEREAS, clergy and spiritual leaders dedicate their lives to guiding others in faith, hope,3 and love; and4 WHEREAS, through prayer, teaching, encouragement, and acts of s ervice, they uplift5 individuals, strengthen families, and nurture the spiritual well-being of our communities; and6 WHEREAS, clergy often stand beside people in life's most meaningful moments—offering7 comfort in sorrow, wisdom in uncertainty, and celebration in times of joy; and8 WHEREAS, Faith and Clergy Day at the state capitol provides a meaningful opportunity to9 pause and express gratitude for the faithful service and positive influence of spiritual leaders10 across our state.11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body12 recognize March 3, 2026, as Faith and Clergy Day at the state c apitol in honor of the13 S. R. 886 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3769 dedication, compassion, and enduring commitment of clergy who f aithfully serve their14 congregations and communities.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed16 to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the public and the17 press.18 S.
