26 LC 129 1336 House Resolution 1563 By: Representatives Herring of the 145th, Jones of the 143rd, and Paris of the 142nd A RESOLUTION Commending Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree for her outstanding achievements in the culinary1 arts, her entrepreneurial leadership, and her commitment to promoting Georgia agriculture2 and community wellness; and for other purposes.3 WHEREAS, Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree is an accomplished chef, r estaurateur, and4 community leader in Middle Georgia whose passion for Southern cuisine and dedication to5 service have elevated the region's culinary landscape; and6 WHEREAS, she is the Founder and Executive Chef of Her Majesty's Kitchen & Catering in7 Forsyth, Georgia, where she has built a thriving restaurant and catering enterprise known for8 its Southern cuisine and New Orleans inspiration; and9 WHEREAS, Chef Green-Ogletree has demonstrated a strong commitme nt to youth10 development and nutrition through her service as Executive Chef at St. Joseph's Catholic11 School in Macon; and12 WHEREAS, Chef Green-Ogletree was recognized for her culinary ex cellence and13 competitive skill as she was crowned Champion on the Food Network's Chopped during the14 Superhero Chef episode; and15 H. R. 1563 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1336 WHEREAS, her leadership, entrepreneurship, and advocacy has sup ported Georgia's16 agricultural community, empowered aspiring chefs, and encouraged young people.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body commend Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree fo r her exceptional19 contributions to the culinary arts, her leadership in promoting Georgia agriculture, and her20 steadfast commitment to strengthening communities through food and service.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Chef23 Chelsia Green-Ogletree.24 H.
