26 LC 112 3764 House Resolution 1539 By: Representatives Sharper of the 177th, Stephens of the 164th, Carpenter of the 4th, Frye of the 122nd, and Sampson of the 153rd A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Nakira Middleton, professionally known as Kiki Chanel, for1 her outstanding contributions to broadcasting and community eng agement; and for other2 purposes.3 WHEREAS, Nakira Middleton, professionally known as Kiki Chanel, has distinguished4 herself as a respected radio personality and assistant program director at 96.7 FM in South5 Georgia, where she brings music, culture, information, and inspiration to listeners throughout6 the region; and7 WHEREAS, through her weekday on-air presence, she has provided a dynamic platform that8 entertains, informs, and connects diverse audiences across South Georgia; and9 WHEREAS, in addition to her role behind the microphone, Ms. Middleton has demonstrated10 strong leadership in the broadcasting industry by assisting in programming, producing11 content, mentoring aspiring media professionals, and contributi ng to the operational12 excellence of her station; and13 H. R. 1539 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3764 WHEREAS, her journey into radio reflects perseverance, creativi ty, and dedication to her14 craft, serving as an inspiration to young people and aspiring broadcasters who seek to make15 their mark in the media industry; and16 WHEREAS, through her voice and influence, she has helped elevate local culture, support17 community initiatives, and strengthen connections among listene rs, businesses, and18 organizations across the State of Georgia; and19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this20 remarkable Georgian be appropriately recognized.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body recognize and commend Nakira Middleton (Kiki Chanel) for her23 excellence in broadcasting, her leadership in media, and her po sitive impact on the24 communities she serves.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to27 Nakira Middleton.28 H.
