26 LC 129 1311 House Resolution 1564 By: Representative Moore of the 91st A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Charlotte Wright; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Charlotte Wright, a 2026 Showtime Pros Cotillion debut ante, is the2 accomplished daughter of Mrs. Karin Wright and Mr. Marcus Wright; and3 WHEREAS, through her participation in the 2026 Showtime Pros Co tillion debutante4 program, Charlotte Wright has been supported and encouraged to grow in strength, character,5 confidence, and purpose; and6 WHEREAS, she is currently a junior attending Rockdale Magnet Sc hool for Science and7 Technology, where she is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Speech and8 Debate, Peer Tutoring, and serves as the President of the Rockd ale County High School9 Student Council; and 10 WHEREAS, in her free time, Charlotte adores puzzles, writing, a nd research as well as11 volunteering at her school, where she demonstrates lab equipment to future students; and12 WHEREAS, each debutante completed a minimum of 10 hours of community service and13 maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.9; and14 H. R. 1564 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1311 WHEREAS, throughout the program, the young women participated i n transformative15 workshops and experiences designed to challenge and inspire them; and 16 WHEREAS, a defining moment of the season was their visit to the Georgia State Capitol,17 where they were recognized during the legislative session and had the opportunity to speak18 on issues important to them–demonstrating that their voices mat ter and their purpose is19 already in action; and20 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstand ing young woman be21 appropriately honored.22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that23 the members of this body recognize and commend Charlotte Wright for her unwavering24 commitment to service, leadership, academic excellence, and community involvement.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appr opriate copy of t his resolution ava ilable for distribution to27 Charlotte Wright.28 H.
