A RESOLUTION
Honoring Veroniece P. Marable for 41 years of distinguished service in education; and for1
other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Veroniece P. Marable has devoted 41 years of exemplary service to the field3
of education in the Atlanta area, demonstrating unwavering dedi cation, integrity, and an4
enduring commitment to the success of students; and5
WHEREAS, throughout her distinguished career, she has consistently modeled excellence6
in instruction and leadership, earning the honor of being named Teacher of the Year on two7
occasions in recognition of her outstanding impact on student achievement and professional8
excellence; and9
WHEREAS, as a Success for All Facilitator, Veroniece P. Marable played a pivotal role in10
strengthening literacy outcomes, mentoring fellow educators, and implementing data-driven11
instructional strategies that enhanced school-wide academic per formance and cultivated a12
culture of continuous improvement; and13

WHEREAS, her classroom has served as more than a place of academic instruction, it has14
been a nurturing and safe environment where children felt value d, encouraged, and15
empowered to believe in their limitless potential; and16
WHEREAS, the foundation of her character and leadership was ins tilled early in life by17
Thomas and Minion Peters, who taught her the enduring values of integrity, discipline,18
compassion, faith, and service to others; and19
WHEREAS, as one of twelve children, she learned the power of resilience, responsibility,20
and teamwork–principles that would later shape her teaching philosophy and her profound21
understanding of the needs of children and families; and22
WHEREAS, her commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in her academic achievements23
as a proud alumna of The Ohio State University, a graduate of Fort Valley State University,24
and a graduate of the University of Georgia, accomplishments that further strengthened her25
leadership and expertise in education; and26
WHEREAS, colleagues admire her wisdom and mentorship, families trust her dedication and27
compassion, and generations of former students credit her as a life-changing influence who28
believed in them before they believed in themselves; and29
WHEREAS, her legacy is not measured solely by titles or awards, but by the countless lives30
she has shaped and the lasting imprint she has made on the community through her steadfast31
belief in every child's potential.32
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that33
the members of this body recognize and honor Veroniece P. Marable for her extraordinary34

service, leadership, and unwavering devotion to education and t he children of the Atlanta35
community.36
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body encourage all to follow her37
guiding motto: "love every child, ignite a passion for learning , and change the world one38
student at a time."39
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized40
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to41
Veroniece P. Marable.42
