26 LC 129 1315 House Resolution 1536 By: Representative Glaize of the 67th A RESOLUTION Congratulating and commending Lady Libby J. Pollard for receiving the 2026 Yellow Rose1 Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, in 1999, Representative Nikki T. Randall became the fi rst African American3 female elected to the General Assembly from middle Georgia, and over her 17 years of4 service as a legislator, she held numerous leadership positions, including chair of the Georgia5 Women's Legislative Caucus; and6 WHEREAS, every year during Women's History Month, the Georgia Women's Legislative7 Caucus recognizes outstanding women in Georgia who exemplify th e leadership and8 inspiration embodied by Representative Randall; and9 WHEREAS, Lady Libby J. Pollard, affectionately and respectfully known as Lady Libby,10 is a proud Atlanta native and graduate of Hoke Smith High School and Draughons College11 in Atlanta, Georgia; and 12 WHEREAS, in June 1991, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Dr. Gregory L. Pollard,13 Senior Pastor of the Enon Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and together, they have been blessed14 with two daughters of the King, Gabrielle Elayndra and Danielle Cartier; and 15 H. R. 1536 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1315 WHEREAS, after a distinguished 20-year career in the medical fi eld, Lady Libby16 transitioned into full-time ministry alongside Pastor Pollard; and 17 WHEREAS, Lady Libby is the driving force behind Enon's Health and Wellness Ministry,18 where she has partnered with ministry leaders and healthcare pr ofessionals to host on-site19 community events providing flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, health screenings, and blood20 drives to the South Fulton community; and 21 WHEREAS, she currently serves as Co-Church Administrator, providing daily operational22 oversight and strategic leadership to the ministry, serving the congregation and surrounding23 communities with excellence, grace, and diligence; and24 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this25 extraordinary servant leader be appropriately recognized.26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that27 the members of this body congratulate and commend Lady Libby J. Pollard for receiving the28 2026 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award and extend best wishes for29 her continued success.30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized31 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Lady32 Libby J.
