26 LC 112 3791 House Resolution 1559 By: Representatives Adeyina of the 110th, Park of the 107th, Carter of the 93rd, Okoye of the 102nd, and Holly of the 116th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Nancy Davordzi; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Nancy Davordzi is a dynamic entrepreneur whose passion for enhancing2 cultural experiences has propelled numerous businesses to succe ss and earned her a3 reputation among her peers as an exemplary marketing strategist; and4 WHEREAS, during her more than 14 years in the restaurant industry, she utilized her keen5 eye for detail and her skills in creating captivating brand narratives to curate unforgettable6 dining experiences, demonstrating true mastery over the art of culinary excellence; and7 WHEREAS, beyond the realm of hospitality, Nancy Davordzi serves as the proud owner of8 an Afrocentric boutique, where she celebrates the richness of African culture through fashion9 and art; and10 WHEREAS, she further serves as the founder of Afrovibez, through which she has facilitated11 meaningful connections and initiatives that celebrate the vibrancy of African heritage while12 promoting unity and solidarity; and13 H. R. 1559 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3791 WHEREAS, Nancy Davordzi continues to leave an immense impact on the worlds of retail,14 hospitality, and community development, inspiring others to embrace their cultural identity15 and pursue their entrepreneurial dreams; and16 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this individual be appropriately honored17 during this special time.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body recognize and commend Nancy Davordzi for her many exceptional20 contributions to hospitality, community empowerment, and cultur al exchange as well as21 extend best wishes for continued success.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to24 Nancy Davordzi.25 H.
