26 LC 112 3774 House Resolution 1543 By: Representatives Hugley of the 141st, Buckner of the 137th, Rice of the 139th, and Smith of the 138th A RESOLUTION Congratulating Breyana Anyaegbunam upon being named the 2025–2026 Youth of the Year1 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Breyana Anyaegbunam has been named the 2025–2026 Youth of the Year for3 the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley, the organiz ation's highest honor4 recognizing leadership, service, academic excellence, and commitment to character; and5 WHEREAS, Breyana Anyaegbunam is a dedicated student at Carver High School, where she6 has demonstrated strong leadership as an active participant in the Junior Reserve Officers'7 Training Corps, earning the respect of her instructors and peers for her character, discipline,8 and civic-minded approach; and9 WHEREAS, her leadership journey has been shaped by perseverance and personal growth,10 as demonstrated by her decision to begin playing soccer during her sophomore year without11 prior experience, overcoming her self-doubt through sustained effort and ultimately serving12 as team captain after five seasons of commitment; and13 H. R. 1543 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3774 WHEREAS, through athletics and mentorship, Breyana Anyaegbunam has used her14 experience to encourage her teammates to communicate openly, trust themselves, and pursue15 growth with confidence; and16 WHEREAS, as further testament to her dedication to service, she aspires to become an17 elementary school teacher, with a particular interest in suppor ting students with special18 needs; and19 WHEREAS, as Youth of the Year, Breyana Anyaegbunam will represent the Boys & Girls20 Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley in state-level competition, serving as an ambassador for21 club youth and giving voice to the positive and lasting impact of the organization; and22 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this exemplar y student-leader be23 appropriately honored during this special time.24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that25 the members of this body congratulate Breyana Anyaegbunam upon being named the26 2025–2026 Youth of the Year for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley and27 extend best wishes for continued success.28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized29 and directed to make an appr opriate copy of t his resolution ava ilable for distribution to30 Breyana Anyaegbunam.31 H.
