26 LC 112 3821 House Resolution 1605 By: Representatives Herring of the 145th, Willis of the 55th, Dawson of the 65th, and Flournoy of the 74th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Najah Aziz; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, through her passion for hairstyling, Najah Aziz has es tablished herself as a2 world-renowned beautician whose expertise has been sought after by countless clients and3 fellow industry professionals; and4 WHEREAS, Najah Aziz has dedicated the last 10 years to her role as the owner and master5 stylist of Like The River Salon, Atlanta's premier hair care de stination known for its6 innovative approach and exceptional service; and7 WHEREAS, her success stems from her exemplary dedication to community service, strict8 professionalism, and timeliness as well as her discernment in b uilding a talented team of9 licensed stylists who uphold these values daily in their work; and10 WHEREAS, with a social media reach of over 360,000 Instagram fo llowers and 322,00011 Facebook followers, Najah Aziz has built a powerful platform as a leading stylist, educator,12 and trusted advocate for top-tier hair care products; and13 H. R. 1605 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3821 WHEREAS, as additional testament to her unparalleled skill, she successfully completed a14 three-week residency in London last year, during which she taug ht an exclusive industry15 masterclass and booked clients from across the United Kingdom; and16 WHEREAS, beyond styling, Najah Aziz is dedicated to giving back by donating services to17 women's shelters, special education students, and cancer surviv ors, earning recognition in18 numerous publications for her philanthropic contributions; and19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkab le individual be20 appropriately honored during this special time.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body recognize and commend Najah Aziz for h er many outstanding23 career accomplishments and contributions on behalf of others as well as extend best wishes24 for continued success.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Najah27 Aziz.28 H.
