A RESOLUTION
Honoring Brad Carr for his exemplary leadership as Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber of1
Commerce; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Brad Carr has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his3
time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of his communit y and state, as evidenced4
dramatically by his superlative service as Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce in5
2025–26; and6
WHEREAS, a proud native of Tucker and rare lifelong resident of metro Atlanta, Brad Carr7
has established a reputation as an excellent corporate law attorney through his service as a8
partner and former managing partner at Andersen, Tate & Carr in Duluth, Georgia; and9
WHEREAS, he is a distinguished Georgia Bulldog who holds two di plomas from the10
University of Georgia, where his tenure as a professor of business law, member of Phi Beta11
Kappa, and president of his fraternity has left an enduring impact; and12
WHEREAS, he further serves his community as a faithful member of Norcross First Global13
Methodist Church as well as a leader in the North Georgia Walk to Emmaus; and14

WHEREAS, Brad Carr is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, a nd pillar of the15
community whose dedication to American values has been formally recognized by the Boy16
Scouts of Gwinnett County; and17
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this18
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately honored.19
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20
the members of this body recognize and commend Brad Carr for hi s efficient, effective,21
unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere22
best wishes for continued health and happiness.23
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Brad25
Carr.26
