A RESOLUTION
Celebrating Georgia's 100 Women of Excellence; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, International Women's Day is a globally recognized occasion to celebrate the2
accomplishments of incredible women who have played an indispensable role in shaping our3
societies, economies, and cultures; breaking barriers; and driving positive change; and4
WHEREAS, these exceptional women have inspired and empowered ot hers through their5
leadership, innovation, creativity, and advocacy for gender equality and women's rights, and6
their stories serve as a powerful reminder that women have the power to create a more just,7
inclusive, and prosperous world; and8
WHEREAS, it is crucial to recognize and honor these women for their immense strength and9
extraordinary contributions: Rachell Dumas, Jyavona Ellis, Susa nnah Maddox,10
Faye Healy Goggins, Cheryl Johnson Knight, Gwenette Westbrooks, Jessica Walden,11
Dr. Chasity Reese, Lynn Snyder, Brittany Mann, Sharon Mann, Sha nnon Stafford Amos,12
Mashi Epting, Frannie Fickling, Lacey Fleming, Cassandra Fontai ne, Heather Fortner,13
Sabrina Friday, Keisha Gibson, Jenea Graham, Jessica Hale, Christy Henry, Angel Irving,14
Diamond Jack, and Tiasha James.15

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16
the members of this body, recognize Georgia's 100 Women of Excellence, and express their17
heartfelt appreciation and admiration for all the phenomenal wo men who have made a18
significant impact and extend best wishes for continued success and empowerment.19
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized20
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the21
public and the press. 22
