A RESOLUTION
Celebrating Georgia's 100 Women of Excellence; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, International Women's Day is a globally recognized occasion to celebrate the2
accomplishments of incredible women who have played an indispensable role in shaping our3
societies, economies, and cultures; breaking barriers; and driving positive change; and4
WHEREAS, these exceptional women have inspired and empowered ot hers through their5
leadership, innovation, creativity, and advocacy for gender equality and women's rights, and6
their stories serve as a powerful reminder that women have the power to create a more just,7
inclusive, and prosperous world; and8
WHEREAS, it is crucial to recognize and honor these women for their immense strength and9
extraordinary contributions: Abby Aiello, Katina Atmore, Grace Azubike, Turquoise Barney,10
Taijah Bell, Elene Bellevue, Maui Bigelow, Joy Black, Yvonne Bo one, Devika Brij,11
Charita Brittenum, Alisha Brown, Martha Brutus, Karmetria Burto n, Danita Chatman,12
Star Clements, Milly-Ann Clerville, Alice Coachman, Angel Cobb, Mirna Coeur,13
Debbie Cook, Tisha Davis, Mychel Dillard, Jessica Divine, and Brianne Drake.14

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15
the members of this body, recognize Georgia's 100 Women of Excellence, and express their16
heartfelt appreciation and admiration for all the phenomenal wo men who have made a17
significant impact and extend best wishes for continued success and empowerment.18
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the20
public and the press.21
