26 LC 129 1362 House Resolution 1642 By: Representatives Baker of the 64th, Alexander of the 66th, and New of the 40th A RESOLUTION Recognizing Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Tri Mu Chapter, for its longstanding service and1 contributions to Douglas, Paulding, and Carroll Counties; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., are committed to the uplift of their3 communities through the fraternity's internationally recognized principles of Manhood,4 Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift; and5 WHEREAS, the fraternity has left a meaningful impact in Douglas , Paulding, and Carroll6 Counties though dedicated and passionate community engagement i nitiatives, including7 mentorship initiatives, scholarship programs, civic engagement efforts, youth development8 activities, and charitable outreach; and9 WHEREAS, the organization has had a positive impact on families, students, and community10 institutions throughout the region; and11 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity,12 Inc., are commended for their continued commitment to service and leadership.13 H. R. 1642 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1362 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that14 the members of this body recognize Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Tri Mu Chapter, for its15 longstanding service and contributions to the communities of Douglas, Paulding, and Carroll16 Counties.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to19 Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.20 H.
