26 LC 39 5063 House Resolution 1693 By: Representative Jones of the 60th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Soha Subramanian; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Soha Subramanian has shown by the example of her accomplishments that the2 pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within reach of the students in this state; and3 WHEREAS, Soha is a resident of House District 60 and an exemplary seventh-grade student4 at the Westminster School; and5 WHEREAS, an active debater with the Westminster Debate Club, Soha has been recognized6 with speaker awards from competitions hosted by the Atlanta Urb an Debate League, the7 University of Kentucky, and Georgetown University; and8 WHEREAS, Soha's passion for debate and policy extends to her pa rticipation as a Model9 United Nations delegate; and10 WHEREAS, Soha brings great pride and honor to her family, schoo l, and classmates with11 her commitment to academics, astute communication skills, and persuasive prowess; and12 H. R. 1693 - 1 - 26 LC 39 5063 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation tow ard the future of this13 bright and promising young citizen.14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15 the members of this body recognize and commend Soha Subramanian for her academic16 excellence and extend best wishes for her continued success in her future endeavors.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Soha19 Subramanian.20 H.
