26 LC 129 1386 House Resolution 1718 By: Representative Smith of the 18th A RESOLUTION Congratulating Ryan Dobbs on his recent promotion to Deputy Chief of the Haralson County1 Fire Department; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Ryan Dobbs has served with honor and dist inction with the3 Haralson County Fire Department for over 16 years; and4 WHEREAS, he began his career in the fire service as a volunteer at the Haralson County Fire5 Department in 2010; and 6 WHEREAS, he is an honest and dedicated public servant who striv es for excellence in all7 of his endeavors and whose primary concern is the welfare and s afety of the citizens of8 Haralson County; and9 WHEREAS, he is highly regarded by the citizens of his community and by state and local10 government officials as a man of unquestioned integrity and dedication to public safety; and11 WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Dobbs has exhibited extraordinary devotion to duty, outstanding12 loyalty, fine leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in all of his duties; and13 H. R. 1718 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1386 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that gratitude is expressed for the unique and14 often unheralded contributions of local first responders on behalf of the citizens of this state.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16 the members of this body commend the care, courage, sympathy, a nd selfless dedication17 exhibited by Deputy Chief Ryan Dobbs in carrying out the difficult duties of his vocation;18 congratulate him upon his recent promotion to Deputy Chief of t he Haralson County Fire19 Department; and express their utmost appreciation for having so purely and truly defined for20 others the meaning of public servant.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to23 Deputy Chief Ryan Dobbs.24 H.
