26 LC 129 1369 House Resolution 1766 By: Representatives Carter of the 93rd, Olaleye of the 59th, Adesanya of the 43rd, and McClain of the 109th A RESOLUTION Recognizing Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star, upon 35 years of dedicated1 service to the Atlanta community; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, founded in Atlanta, Georgia, Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star,3 has exemplified the values of charity, truth, and loving-kindne ss, making a lasting impact4 across the community for over 35 years; and5 WHEREAS, under the leadership of Sister Roslyn Ridgeway, Worthy Matron, the chapter’s6 Sisters and Brothers have faithfully volunteered their time, energy, and leadership to address7 important community needs, including supporting children with a utism, assisting youth8 experiencing homelessness, supporting military veterans and the ir families, and aiding9 survivors of domestic violence; and10 WHEREAS, the dedication of Mystic Chapter No. 739’s Sisters and Brothers reflects the11 highest ideals of the Order of the Eastern Star and serves as a n inspiring example of civic12 engagement and compassion; and13 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkab le organization be14 appropriately honored.15 H. R. 1766 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1369 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16 the members of this body recognize Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star, for17 35 years of exemplary service and tireless commitment to the Atlanta community.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to20 Mystic Chapter No. 739, Order of the Eastern Star.21 H.
