26 LC 129 1423 House Resolution 1787 By: Representatives Crowe of the 118th, Camp of the 135th, Dickey of the 134th, Mathiak of the 82nd, and Gullett of the 19th A RESOLUTION Congratulating the Rock Springs Christian Academy wrestling team for winning the 20261 GAPPS State Wrestling Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Rock Springs Christian Academy wrestling team has established and3 maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;4 and5 WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team6 a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable7 2026 campaign, the team captured its second state wrestling championship; and8 WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding9 athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the10 team, and the astute direction of coaches Jonathan Bischoff and Jason Valdez; and11 WHEREAS, this all-star team included Miles Donnigan, Chael Brown, Trenten Henderson,12 Drew Beauchamp, Kale Donnigan, Caleb George, Levi George, Nate Harper, Shane Perkins,13 Cody Garner, Xavier Bond, Samuel Chambers, Clark Fagin, Noah Re ynolds, and River14 Pines; and15 H. R. 1787 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1423 WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by16 performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is17 abundantly proper to call them champions.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body congratulate the Rock Springs Christian Academy wrestling team20 for winning the 2026 GAPPS State Wrestling Championship and extend best wishes for their21 continued success.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the24 Rock Springs Christian Academy wrestling team.25 H.
