Teal; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Celeste H. Teal was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, an d she spent her early2 childhood in the metro Atlanta area before relocating at the ag e of eight to Columbus,3 Georgia, where she was raised in a close-knit, faith-centered f amily environment that4 emphasized love, guidance, and strong values; and5 WHEREAS, her formative years were enriched by meaningful time s pent with her6 grandparents and extended family, including summers in Columbus filled with family7 connection, outdoor activities, and the support of relatives who played an important role in8 shaping her character and sense of community; and9 WHEREAS, as a child, Celeste H. Teal demonstrated a strong academic curiosity and love10 of learning, particularly in English and mathematics, while also developing a creative spirit11 expressed through her interests in singing and fashion; and12 WHEREAS, guided by a deep faith and a commitment to serving others, she dedicated time13 to volunteering in nursing homes and participating in charitabl e efforts with her family,14 developing a lasting appreciation for compassion, service, and community engagement; and15 S. R. 982 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3983 WHEREAS, she pursued higher education at Tuskegee University, w here she began her16 studies with the goal of becoming a teacher before redirecting her focus to business,17 ultimately earning a degree in business administration and establishing a strong foundation18 for her future career; and19 WHEREAS, Celeste H. Teal has continued to advance her education and professional20 aspirations by pursuing a Master of Science in digital marketing, further developing her skills21 in business, creativity, and technology; and22 WHEREAS, through her dedication to education, service, and personal growth, Celeste H.23 Teal exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, compassion, and ambition that contribute to24 the betterment of her community.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body26 commend Celeste H. Teal for her many remarkable accomplishments as well as extend best27 wishes for continued success.28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed29 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Celeste H.
