26 LC 129 1406 House Resolution 1808 By: Representatives Ali of the 106th and Clark of the 108th A RESOLUTION Honoring the work of Melinda Klinect; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Melinda Klinect recently retired after 33 years teachi ng at Parkview High2 School in Lilburn, Georgia; and3 WHEREAS, throughout her career, she guided, educated, and inspired hundreds of students,4 helping place them on a meaningful pathway toward future success; and 5 WHEREAS, this distinguished gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high6 ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom7 which only comes through experience and the strength of charact er which is achieved8 through overcoming the many challenges of life; and9 WHEREAS, Melinda was a tireless advocate for public school teachers and their wellbeing,10 dedicating countless hours of her time and energy to empowering others; and11 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for12 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and13 H. R. 1808 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1406 WHEREAS, her vision and unyielding commitment to her students and colleagues will be14 sorely missed upon the occasion of her retirement; and15 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this16 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body honor the work of Melinda Klinect, con gratulate her upon the19 grand occasion of her retirement, and extend the most sincere b est wishes for continued20 health and happiness.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to23 Melinda Klinect.24 H.
