26 LC 129 1444 House Resolution 1814 By: Representative Gambill of the 15th A RESOLUTION Commending Melissa Moore, Cartersville High School's 2026 STAR Teacher; and for other1 purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, Melissa Moore has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the5 vital role that she has played in the teaching profession and her deep personal commitment6 to the education of the students of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, Melissa Moore has earned distinction for teaching exce llence and has been8 honored as Cartersville High School's 2026 STAR Teacher; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of her contributions to the education and welfare of young people10 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this bod y to honor the extraordinary11 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.12 H.
