26 LC 129 1445 House Resolution 1815 By: Representative Gambill of the 15th A RESOLUTION Commending Katherine Jones, Excel Christian Academy's 2026 STAR Teacher; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, Katherine Jones has long been recognized by the citize ns of this state for the5 vital role that she has played in the teaching profession and her deep personal commitment6 to the education of the students of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, Katherine Jones has earned distinction for teaching ex cellence and has been8 honored as Excel Christian Academy's 2026 STAR Teacher; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of her contributions to the education and welfare of young people10 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this bod y to honor the extraordinary11 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.12 H. R. 1815 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1445 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body commend Katherine Jones, Excel Christian Academy's 2026 STAR14 Teacher, and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to17 Katherine Jones.18 H.
