26 LC 129 1270 Senate Resolution 998 By: Senators Walker III of the 20th, Anavitarte of the 31st, Jones II of the 22nd, Still of the 48th, Dixon of the 45th and others A RESOLUTION Commending the 2026 Senate Aides and Senate Academic Aides for their exemplary service;1 and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, each year, the Georgia Senate relies on citizens of Georgia who are interested3 in the legislative process to work as aides for the Senate committees and leadership; and4 WHEREAS, these individuals hail from varied backgrounds and from all areas of this state5 and have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring the efficient and effective administration6 of Senate committee hearings; and7 WHEREAS, the Georgia Senate has been very fortunate to have had the exceptional service8 of legislative aides, whose work has been marked by a devotion to helping the citizens of9 Georgia and a constant commitment to the highest standards of excellence; and10 WHEREAS, the chairpersons and members of the standing committees and Senate leadership11 salute and commend each of the following Senate Aides for their hard work and a job well12 done: Arya Patel, Avery Robinson, Ayomide Rahman, Becket Harp, Bella Brim, Benjamin13 Shewan, Betcy Eliseo, Caleb Morse, Carli Daniels, Denascia Hunter, Elle Moss, Emily Delk,14 Emma Beck, Gwen Andrews, Isabella Zorzoli, Jacob Pilgram, Jada Barronton, Maya Laufer,15 S. R. 998 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1270 Paris Buren, Phillipia Zappos, Quinlan Childs-Goodwin, Trevor W ood, Victoria Jones,16 William Lazarus, Danely Cruz, Jada Barronton, Kennedy Ragin, Emalee Collins, Gabriella17 Sabater, Rohan Veeramani, Delia Neufeld, McKinley Rembert, Natalie Pryce, Danica Leung,18 Pia Saraswat, Ana Cristina Townsend, Lahari Kamabat, Kira Wolfm eier, Aaron Kimsey,19 Lucy Bertsch, Ethan Mollenauer, Allie Kate Campbell, Annabelle Hodges, Joy Hollis, Dylan20 Turner, Dom Bright, Catie Ford, Clara Leggett, Emma Whitmore, Lauren Trinkwalder, and21 Sophie Opolka; and22 WHEREAS, the hard work and dedication of these distinguished Ge orgians have been23 enormous assets to the citizens of Georgia; and24 WHEREAS, all the members of the Senate greatly appreciate the invaluable service of aides25 who enable their business to run smoothly and successfully.26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body27 commend the Senate Aides and Senate Academic Aides for the 2026 regular session on their28 superb performance and convey their best wishes to each of them for success and happiness29 in their future pursuits.30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed31 to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for dis tribution to the 2026 Senate32 Aides and Senate Academic Aides.33 S.
