26 LC 112 4015 House Resolution 1836 By: Representatives Adeyina of the 110 th, Gilliard of the 162 nd, Cannon of the 58 th, Cummings of the 39th, Clark of the 108th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Ebonie Ward; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Ebonie Ward is a trail-blazing entrepreneur, founder, and CEO of 11th & Co.,2 a full-service, Black female-owned and operated management comp any headquartered in3 Atlanta, Georgia, that serves as a home to both established and emerging talent and stands4 as a beacon of excellence in the music and entertainment industry; and5 WHEREAS, through her visionary leadership, Ebonie has worked with and guided a range6 of high profile artists and cultural figures both past and pres ent, including Gunna, Future,7 James Harden, and others, elevating their brands to national an d global recognition and8 helping position them among the most influential voices across music, sports, and culture;9 and10 WHEREAS, Ebonie has guided Gunna from the earliest stages of his career to international11 acclaim, producing multiple chart topping albums, headlining sold out tours, and launching12 transformative initiatives including Gunna's Great Giveaway and Wunna Run Club; and13 H. R. 1836 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4015 WHEREAS, Ebonie has played a pivotal role in the career of Future, contributing to a series14 of chart dominating projects and multiple number one albums, including I Never Liked You,15 securing his position as one of the most influential artists of his generation; and16 WHEREAS, she is the visionary owner of 550 RMG, a 10,000-square -foot creative17 ecosystem in Old Fourth Ward that serves as a premier hub for A tlanta's prominent and18 emerging talent, creatives, and innovators, redefining the futu re of entertainment19 entrepreneurship; and20 WHEREAS, Ebonie is the founder of A Seat at the Table, a nonprofit organization dedicated21 to advancing equity, access, and mentorship within the entertainment and creative industries,22 creating meaningful pathways for the next generation of global leaders; and23 WHEREAS, through her nonprofit arm, she established the annual A Seat at the Table24 Scholarship Fund, an enduring commitment to invest in young women attending HBCUs by25 providing financial support, men torship, and direct access to c areer opportunities, having26 awarded scholarships to 20 young women and distributed $220,000 to support their27 educational and professional journeys; and28 WHEREAS, Ebonie has led impactful community initiatives, including raising over $11,00029 in support of Susan G. Komen's mission during the Atlanta Breast Cancer Walk.30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that31 the members of this body recognize and commend Ebonie Ward for her visionary leadership,32 transformative work, and dedicated community advocacy as well as extend best wishes for33 future success as she continues to shape the future of music, culture, and creative opportunity34 from Atlanta to the world.35 H.
