26 LC 56 0685 House Bill 1593 By: Representatives Sanchez of the 42nd, McQueen of the 61st, and Cummings of the 39th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Code Section 3-3-20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to sale1 of alcoholic beverages on Sundays, election days, and Christmas Day, so as to repeal the2 prohibition on the sale of alcoholic beverages within 250 feet of any polling place; to provide3 for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 Code Section 3-3-20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to sale of alcoholic7 beverages on Sundays, election days, and Christmas Day, is amended by repealing paragraph8 (3) of subsection (b).9 SECTION 2.10 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.11 H.
