26 LC 112 3976 House Resolution 1870 By: Representative Burns of the 159th A RESOLUTION Commending the House Media Services session assistants for the 2026 regular session of the1 General Assembly of Georgia; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, each year, the Georgia House of Representatives relies on staff members and3 service offices to ensure that the business of the body runs ef ficiently, smoothly, and4 effectively; and5 WHEREAS, the House Media Services Office is a non-partisan media relations and member6 services office that provides a wide range of resources for Hou se members, including7 facilitating media events, issuing press releases, scheduling meeting spaces, streaming and8 archiving committee meetings, and developing photography, videography, social media, and9 web content; and10 WHEREAS, during the annual legislative session, the House Media Services Office relies11 on the expertise, dedication, and assistance of temporary emplo yees who ensure that the12 office continues to provide these vital services in a timely and efficient manner; and13 H. R. 1870 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3976 WHEREAS, the following 2026 House Media Services session assist ants are abundantly14 worthy of recognition for their exemplary work: Saran Punmaneeluk, Sheila Mayo, Jeremy15 Thomas, Fletcher Johnson, and Allie Mayfield.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17 the members of this body commend the House Media Services session assistants for the 202618 regular session of the General Assembly of Georgia on their superb performance.19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized20 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to each21 of the assistants named herein.22 H.
