26 LC 112 3979 Senate Resolution 1009 By: Senators Cowsert of the 46th, Burns of the 23rd, Jones of the 10th, Hickman of the 4th, Ginn of the 47th and others A RESOLUTION Congratulating the 2025 Everyday Energy Heroes; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the Natural Gas Association of Georgia began the Every day Energy Heroes2 Campaign in 2025 to spotlight the members of the natural gas industry who make it possible3 for the people and businesses to enjoy the benefits of natural gas safely and reliably; and4 WHEREAS, founded in 2015, the Natural Gas Association of Georgia is composed of more5 than 50 companies and municipalities that provide natural gas s ervices to the residents of6 Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, over 2 million homes and businesses in Georgia are connected to a natural gas8 service that provides energy for heating, cooking, hot water, drying, and other uses; and9 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the following individuals be10 appropriately honored for their many outstanding contributions: Lonnie Robinson, City of11 Commerce; Robert Gordon, DeKalb County; Alex Philmon, City of S ugar Hill; Everett12 Rhodes, City of Waynesboro; Danny Hughes, City of Claxton; Tabitha Shephard, Southstar13 Energy Services; and David Martin, Mansfield Power and Gas.14 S.
