26 LC 112 4001 Senate Resolution 1012 By: Senators Harbison of the 15th, Orrock of the 36th, Anderson of the 43rd, Davenport of the 17th, Wicks of the 34th and others A RESOLUTION Commending Dr. Terry L. Hudson II; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Dr. Terry L. Hudson II is a distinguished resident of the State of Georgia whose2 unwavering commitment to national security and public service has made a profound impact3 both within and beyond the military community; and4 WHEREAS, Dr. Hudson honorably served his country in the United States Army as a 35F5 Intelligence Analyst from 2012 to 2016, demonstrating exception al dedication,6 professionalism, and integrity in the defense of the nation; and7 WHEREAS, following his military service, Dr. Hudson continued to support critical national8 security missions through both industry and federal service, contributing his expertise to key9 operations and organizations, including Combined Joint Task For ce - Operation Inherent10 Resolve (CJTF-OIR), United States Army Central (ARCENT), United States Army11 Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), and other vital mission partners; and12 WHEREAS, Dr. Hudson has further distinguished himself through his work in security roles13 supporting the Maneuver Center of Excellence, including the Off icer Candidate School14 S. R. 1012 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4001 program and specialized security responsibilities essential to the readiness and safety of15 military personnel; and16 WHEREAS, he currently serves with distinction as the sole Garri son Security Manager at17 Fort Benning, Georgia, where he provides critical security over sight and support to18 directorates and tenant units, ensuring the safety and protecti on of civilians, military19 personnel, and contractors across the installation; and20 WHEREAS, in addition to his exemplary professional service, Dr. Hudson has demonstrated21 an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence, earning a B achelor of Science in22 Business Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology, a Master of Science23 in Forensic Sciences, and a Doctor of Forensic Sciences; and24 WHEREAS, Dr. Hudson's achievements reflect a steadfast dedication to lifelong learning,25 leadership, and service, making him a model citizen and an inspiration to all Georgians.26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body27 commend Dr. Terry L. Hudson II for his outstanding service to the State of Georgia and the28 United States and extend their sincerest appreciation for his c ontinued contributions to29 national security and public safety.30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed31 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Dr. Terry L.32 Hudson II.33 S.
