26 LC 129 9023 House Resolution 1846 By: Representatives Cox of the 28th, Jasperse of the 11th, McDonald III of the 26th, Barrett of the 24th, Jones of the 25th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing the North Forsyth High School Girls Gymnastics Team for winning the 20251 Georgia High School Association Class 5A-6A State Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the North Forsyth High School Girls Gymnastics Team re presented North3 Forsyth High School in the 2025 Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 5A-6A4 gymnastics season; and5 WHEREAS, the team demonstrated exceptional athletic skill, competitive consistency, and6 technical excellence throughout the 2025 regular season and state championship series; and7 WHEREAS, at the 2025 GHSA Class 5A-6A State Championship meet, the North Forsyth8 Girls Gymnastics Team captured the GHSA State Title with a total team score of 111.650,9 defeating the three-time defending champion Buford High School, who finished with10 110.000, securing the first state championship in program history; and11 WHEREAS, the championship performance featured standout contrib utions from12 student-athletes Logan Otteson, who placed third in the Individual All-Around competition13 with a score of 38.375, Carsyn Kudlas, who placed sixth in the Individual All-Around14 competition with a score of 37.225, and Ansley Ferguson, whose strong routines on the15 H. R. 1846 - 1 - 26 LC 129 9023 uneven bars, balance beam, and 2nd place finish on floor exercise played a vital role in the16 team victory; and17 WHEREAS, the leadership of the coaching staff Head Coach Kamdyn Radke, Assistant18 Coach Aundrio Crittenden, whose dedication, training, and support elevated the program to19 championship caliber, and was instrumental to the team's success; and20 WHEREAS, this historic accomplishment stands as a testament to the discipline of the21 student-athletes, the commitment of the coaching staff, and the strong support of the North22 Forsyth community; and23 WHEREAS, the team's success brought great pride to North Forsyth High School, Forsyth24 County, and the State of Georgia, exemplifying sportsmanship, perseverance, and excellence.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26 the members of this body recognize and commend the North Forsyt h High School Girls27 Gymnastics Team for winning the 2025 Georgia High School Association Class 5A-6A State28 Championship and congratulate them for their outstanding athletic achievement.29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized30 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to North31 Forsyth High School and the North Forsyth Girls Gymnastics Team.32 H.
