26 LC 112 4044 House Resolution 1862 By: Representatives Adeyina of the 110th, Okoye of the 102nd, Holly of the 116th, Clark of the 108th, Mitchell of the 88th, and others A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Bishop Adeyinka Adejube; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 with the passing of Bishop Adeyinka Adejube on October 14, 2025; and3 WHEREAS, Bishop Adeyinka Adejube was born on October 12, 1976, in Akure, Ondo4 State, Nigeria, a beloved son of Prince Abel OlorukoOba Adejube and Deaconess Eunice5 Matanmi Adejube; and6 WHEREAS, he received his early education at the Methodist Primary School and Oyemekun7 Grammar School in Akure, and he earned a National Diploma in Geographical Information8 Systems from Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti in 2001; and9 WHEREAS, after relocating to the United States in 2005, he beca me a visionary leader in10 the entertainment industry, founding Bishop Entertainment Consult LLC and co-founding11 Core DJ's Africa in 2006, advancing Afrobeats and elevating Afr ican talent in the global12 market; and13 H. R. 1862 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4044 WHEREAS, he later founded International Trade Exchange in 2008, expanding his work into14 international business development, international trade relatio ns, and capacity-building15 efforts benefitting developing nations; and16 WHEREAS, in 2010, he became Chief Operating Officer of Vogue En tertainment Group,17 where he played a pivotal role in expanding television content production, talent18 management, and entertainment development; and19 WHEREAS, Bishop Adejube demonstrated his passion for community advancement through20 leadership roles with Egbe Omo Yoruba North America for more than seven years, serving21 as National Public Relations Secretary as well as holding multi ple roles in the Atlanta22 Chapter; and23 WHEREAS, he further contributed to civic engagement through service with the Nigerian24 American Political Affairs Committee (NAPAC), joining APC-USA i n January 2015 and25 later serving as National Deputy Public Relations Officer; and served Nigerians in Diaspora26 Organization where he worked to empower communities, advance diplomacy, and promote27 positive change; and28 WHEREAS, his philanthropic heart led him to establish the Bishop Adejube Foundation in29 2020, providing essential education, youth support, medical res ources, agricultural30 assistance, and entrepreneurship training to underserved communities in Africa, the United31 States, and beyond; and32 WHEREAS, he was united in love and marriage to his wife, Ebony. He is also survived by33 two remarkable children, Danita and Charnita; nine wonderful gr andchildren, D'Amber,34 H. R. 1862 - 2 - 26 LC 112 4044 Idalis, Jamari, Xavier, Andre, Carlton III, Jahkwonia, Jeremiah , and Tavis; and an35 outstanding great-grandson, Stylez; and36 WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous man who demonstrated his commitment to37 witnessing Christ through word and deed, Bishop Adejube will long be remembered for his38 love of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who had the great39 fortune of knowing him.40 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that41 the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory of Bishop Adeyinka Adejube42 and express their deepest and most sincere regret at his passing.43 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized44 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the45 family of Bishop Adeyinka Adejube.46 H.
