26 LC 112 3947 House Resolution 1876 By: Representative Burns of the 159th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Andre Ionescu; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, during the 2026 Legislative Session, Andre Ionescu has served as a legal extern2 within the Office of the Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives, where he assists3 with legislative research and policy analysis; and4 WHEREAS, he is a second-year law student at the Emory Universit y School of Law who5 intends to build his career in civil litigation, working on complex legal disputes and advocacy6 in the courtroom; and7 WHEREAS, Andre Ionescu is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable8 reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and9 WHEREAS, he has served the Office of the Speaker with honor and distinction, and his10 vision and unyielding commitment to excellence will be sorely missed upon his departure;11 and12 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this13 remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately recognized.14 H. R. 1876 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3947 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15 the members of this body recognize and commend Andre Ionescu for his dedicated service16 during the 2026 Legislative Session and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued17 health and happiness.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Andre20 Ionescu.21 H.
