26 LC 112 3975 House Resolution 1872 By: Representative Burns of the 159th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the House session assistants for the 2026 regular session of1 the General Assembly of Georgia; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, each year, the Georgia House of Representatives relies on staff members to3 ensure that the business of the body runs efficiently, smoothly, and effectively; and4 WHEREAS, the temporary session assistants of the Georgia House of Representatives have5 demonstrated a commitment to ensuring the proper administration of the legislative process6 and to handling constituent needs with care and compassion; and7 WHEREAS, the Georgia House of Representatives has been very fortunate to have had the8 exceptional service of temporary session assistants whose work is consistently marked by9 their devotion to helping citizens and their constant commitment to the highest standards of10 excellence; and11 WHEREAS, the members of the Georgia House of Representatives sa lute the session12 assistants of the 2026 regular session for their hard work and a job well done: Barbara Hill,13 Elizabeth Giron-Hernandez, Andre Cross, Leah Soller, Davis Camu so, Majorie Guerrero,14 H. R. 1872 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3975 Blair Bonner, Logan Birchmore, Ann Retty, Reaghan Malone, Brishae Dixon, and Marcus15 Ross; and16 WHEREAS, the hard work and dedication of these distinguished Georgians have proven to17 be enormous assets to the citizens of Georgia, and all the members of the General Assembly18 greatly appreciate the invaluable service of temporary session assistants who enable their19 business to run smoothly and successfully.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 the members of this body commend the House session assistants for the 2026 regular session22 of the General Assembly of Georgia on their superb performance.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the25 2026 Georgia House of Representatives session assistants.26 H.
