26 LC 112 4010 House Resolution 1865 By: Representatives Santos of the 117th, Flournoy of the 74th, Holly of the 116th, and Douglas of the 78th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the school psychologists serving the students and families of1 Henry County Schools; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, school psychologists play an essential role in support ing the academic,3 emotional, and behavioral well-being of students across Henry County; and4 WHEREAS, these professionals provide psychological evaluations, counseling support,5 behavioral intervention strategies, crisis response, and collab oration with educators and6 families to ensure students receive the support necessary to thrive in school and in life; and7 WHEREAS, the school psychologists serving Henry County Schools for the 2025-20268 school year include: Dr. Donzaleigh Arrington; Crystal Calhoun; Dr. Cherisse Chisolm; Dr.9 Sabrina Coneway; Dr. Janet Cooks; Amanda Cooper; Paul Darbouze; Mikaila Dunn; Dr. Alta10 Eblin; Marjory Fortune; Marline Francois; Dr. Linda Gable; Jennifer Hike; Janet Huggins;11 Cosheka Hughes; Stephanie Meddaugh; Victoria Sanchez; Dr. Alexandria Elliott-Sherman;12 Carol Smith; Daniel Sparrow; Lisa Thomason; Dr. Jessica Traylor ; Amy Turner; and Dr.13 Sharise Wilson, along with other school psychologi sts serving t he district whose14 contributions are equally valued; and15 H. R. 1865 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4010 WHEREAS, these professionals work closely with teachers, admini strators, families, and16 community partners to promote safe and supportive learning environments and to ensure that17 all students have access to the resources needed for success; and18 WHEREAS, the work of these school psychologists not only benefi ts the students and19 families of Henry County but also contributes to the overall health, safety, and educational20 success of the State of Georgia; and21 WHEREAS, their commitment to the well-being of students strengthens public education and22 enhances the quality of life in communities throughout this state.23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that24 the members of this body recognize and commend the school psychologists serving Henry25 County Schools for their outstanding service and dedication to the students and families of26 this state and extend their most sincere best wishes for continued success.27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the29 school psychologists of Henry County Schools.30 H.
