26 LC 112 4028 House Resolution 1869 By: Representatives Taylor of the 92nd, Buckner of the 137th, and Alexander of the 66th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Jai Ferrell; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Jai Ferrell is an award-winning global executive with more than 20 years of2 expertise and experience in leadership, marketing, brand strate gy, customer experience,3 operations, personnel management, and revenue generation; and4 WHEREAS, she currently serves as chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta,5 leading a $25 million organization that supports over 35,000 me mbers across 35 counties,6 and she is the first person of color to lead the organization i n its more than 100-year-long7 history; and8 WHEREAS, she previously served as chief commercial revenue officer at Hartsfield-Jackson9 Atlanta International Airport, where she managed a commercial p ortfolio exceeding $1.510 billion annually and was the first to hold the role; and11 WHEREAS, she is further affiliated with the American Cancer Society ResearcHER, Lead12 Atlanta, the KPMG Executive Women in Leadership program, and Al pha Kappa Alpha13 Sorority, Incorporated, Phi Beta Kappa; and14 H. R. 1869 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4028 WHEREAS, Jai Ferrell has recei ved numerous honors in recognitio n of her service,15 including Atlanta Magazine's 500 Top Leaders (2022-2026), U.S. Black Chambers POWER16 50 Women of Influence (2025), and Who's Who in America (2025); and17 WHEREAS, this distinguished gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high18 ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom19 which only comes through experience and the strength of charact er which is achieved20 through overcoming the many challenges of life; and21 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for22 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and23 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this24 remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately honored.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26 the members of this body recognize and commend Jai Ferrell for her many exceptional career27 accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere best wishes for continued success.28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized29 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Jai30 Ferrell.31 H.
