26 LC 112 3946 House Resolution 1875 By: Representative Burns of the 159th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Alexander Bergosh; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, during the 2026 Legislative Session, Alexander Bergosh has served as a legal2 extern within the Office of the Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives' General3 Counsel; and4 WHEREAS, he has previously served as a student attorney in Geor gia State University's5 Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, representing indigent clients again st the Internal Revenue6 Service, as well as an intern at the Augusta Judicial Circuit's District Attorney's Office7 Appeals Division; and8 WHEREAS, upon completing his Juris Doctor, he intends to sit for the Georgia and Florida9 bar exams and pursue a career in tax law or related financial areas; and10 WHEREAS, Alexander Bergosh is a person of magnanimous strengths w i t h a n11 unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and12 H. R. 1875 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3946 WHEREAS, he has served the Office of the Speaker with honor and distinction, and his13 vision and unyielding commitment to excellence will be sorely missed upon his departure;14 and15 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this16 remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately recognized.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body recognize and commend Alexander Bergos h for his dedicated19 service during the 2026 Legislative Session and extend the most sincere best wishes for20 continued health and happiness.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to23 Alexander Bergosh.24 H.
