A RESOLUTION
Honoring the life and memory of Larry C. Warnock; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2
with the passing of Larry C. Warnock on August 26, 2025; and3
WHEREAS, Larry C. Warnock was born on March 25, 1935, in Tarryt own, Georgia, a4
beloved son of David and Cornelia Warnock; and5
WHEREAS, a man of deep and abiding faith, Larry was an active member of Hartwell First6
Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School; and7
WHEREAS, he was united in love and marriage to his wife, Elizabeth, and was blessed with8
three remarkable children, Fran, Jan, and Byron; as well as several wonderful grandchildren9
and great grandchildren; and10
WHEREAS, he gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern11
for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his12
family and friends were admired by others; and13

WHEREAS, he was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation14
for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and by the example he made of his life, he15
made this world a better place in which to live; and16
WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous man, Larry will long be remembered for his love17
of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who had the great fortune of18
knowing him.19
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20
the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory o f Larry C. Warnock and21
express their deepest and most sincere regret at his passing.22
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the24
family of Larry C. Warnock.25
