A RESOLUTION
Honoring Terri Brown for her exceptional service and dedication to the citizens of Georgia;1
and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Terri Brown has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving others3
as a Medical, Financial, and Legal Liaison, dedicating her care er to bridging critical gaps4
between hospitals, courtrooms, and the clients she serves; and5
WHEREAS, through her work, she has provided invaluable assistance to individuals in need6
by helping them navigate doctor's appointments, financial chall enges, and legal matters,7
ensuring that they receive comprehensive and compassionate support during times of need;8
and9
WHEREAS, she has served as an external case manager, coordinati ng follow-up care,10
organizing in-home services, and ensuring the continued care an d safety of her clients as11
intended by medical professionals; and12
WHEREAS, prior to her civilian service, Terri Brown honorably served her country for 2013
years as a United States Army Medic/EMT, during which time she performed a wide range14
of critical duties, including serving as an Emergency Room Tech nician and supporting15

specialized areas such as OB/GYN, thoracic surgery, plastic sur gery, and neurosurgery at16
Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Fort Benning; and17
WHEREAS, during her distinguished military career, she also contributed her expertise to18
the Army Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention Office, further demonstrating her19
dedication to the health and well-being of others; and20
WHEREAS, she has utilized the knowledge and experience gained throughout her military21
service to help individuals better understand medical instructi ons and ensure proper22
continuation of care in the home; and23
WHEREAS, Terri Brown is a woman of notable academic achievement, having earned an24
associate's degree in business administration from Georgia Mili tary College, a bachelor's25
degree in business finance from Columbus State University, and a paralegal certificate from26
Auburn University; and27
WHEREAS, she has applied her education and skills to assist ind ividuals in navigating28
complex financial and legal systems, empowering them with the t ools and understanding29
necessary to improve their lives; and30
WHEREAS, her spirit of service extends beyond her professional career, as she continues31
to support both youth and senior citizens through fostering and adoption as well as serving32
as the legal guardian of a 96-year-old individual in need of gu idance and care, ensuring33
dignity, stability, and quality of life; and34

WHEREAS, her tireless efforts to bridge gaps within the communi ty have helped seniors35
enjoy their later years with dignity and have provided youth wi th stronger foundations for36
success; and37
WHEREAS, Terri Brown's life's work embodies compassion, leaders hip, and a steadfast38
dedication to meeting the needs of her community.39
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body40
honor and commend Terri Brown for her outstanding service and e xtend their deepest41
appreciation for her continued contributions to the State of Georgia and its citizens.42
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed43
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Terri Brown.44
