26 LC 112 4057 House Resolution 1939 By: Representative Gilliard of the 162nd A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Teresa LaBarham Mitchell; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Teresa LaBarham Mitchell is an entrepreneur and artistic director with over 402 years of experience in performance, artist development, and ministry leadership; and3 WHEREAS, through her service as co-founder of the Mitchells Aca demy of Music and4 founder of T-Music Productions, Teresa LaBarham Mitchell blends creative excellence with5 compassionate mentorship; and6 WHEREAS, her exemplary career has spanned roles in live enterta inment, choir7 management, and education, including as choir director of the Temple of Miracles Worship8 Center and Ushers Temple Church; founder, singer, and manager o f Queens Connection9 Entertainment; business manager of the Georgia Department of Corrections; and more; and10 WHEREAS, this distinguished gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high11 ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom12 which only comes through experience and the strength of charact er which is achieved13 through overcoming the many challenges of life; and14 H. R. 1939 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4057 WHEREAS, Teresa LaBarham Mitchell is a person of magnanimous st rengths with an15 unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and16 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this17 remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately honored.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body recognize and commend Teresa LaBarham Mitchell for her many20 exceptional career achievements and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health21 and happiness.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to24 Teresa LaBarham Mitchell.25 H.
