26 LC 112 4107 House Resolution 1980 By: Representative Au of the 50th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GNFCC) w as founded in3 1972 to promote economic development in the region, and it has since allowed the cities of4 Johns Creek, Milton, Alpharetta, Roswell, Mountain Park, and Sandy Springs to develop into5 diverse and thriving areas; and6 WHEREAS, GNFCC's mission is to grow business, develop talent, a nd lead regional7 prosperity throughout North Fulton, with the vision to be the premier business organization8 driving member and community success; and9 WHEREAS, GNFCC is a five star accredited chamber dedicated to fostering business growth10 and expansion, talent and leadership cultivation, and member value and engagement through11 the guiding principles of advocacy, inclusivity, and operational excellence; and12 WHEREAS, GNFCC's strategic focus on influence and advocacy for businesses throughout13 the region keeps the public informed on legislation impacting business and assists members14 in meeting with their local representatives both state and federally; and15 H. R. 1980 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4107 WHEREAS, with over 500 alumni and counting, Leadership North Fulton (LNF) has been16 GNFCC's signature leadership development program for over 30 ye ars, upholding the17 mission of promoting community awareness, instilling civic resp onsibility, and building18 relationships; and19 WHEREAS, through its Businesswomen Organizing for Leadership an d Development20 (BOLD) program, GNFCC further works to enable businesswomen to create outstanding21 networks and spheres of influence, build partnerships together and with organizations to22 develop business, and to grow the community around businesswome n in North Fulton,23 awarding businesswomen every year for their achievement to the community.24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that25 the members of this body recognize and commend the Greater Nort h Fulton Chamber of26 Commerce for its many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens and businesses27 of this state as well as extend best wishes for continued success.28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized29 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the30 Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.31 H.
