A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Jajuan Mitchell on his outstanding p ublic service; and for1
other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Jajuan Mitchell has long been recognized by the citize ns of this state for his3
deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and4
WHEREAS, Jajuan, of Atlanta, Georgia, is a junior at Georgia Gwinnett College, majoring5
in English; and 6
WHEREAS, he has earned placement on the Dean’s List for his academic achievements and7
is dedicated to pursuing a career in law, with the goal of attending law school; and8
WHEREAS, as a member of the inaugural cohort of the Georgia Gwinnett College Internship9
Program at the Georgia State Capitol, Jajuan worked with State Representative Doreen10
Carter of the 93rd District, gaining hands-on experience in legislative processes; and 11
WHEREAS, he contributed by following bills, attending committee meetings, drafting12
professional documents, and participating in events, gaining practical insight into how laws13
are developed and implemented; and14

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this15
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.16
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17
the members of this body recognize and commend Jajuan Mitchell for his efficient, effective,18
unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere19
best wishes for continued health and happiness.20
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized21
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to22
Jajuan Mitchell.23
