26 LC 112 4091 Senate Resolution 1069 By: Senators Tillery of the 19th, Walker III of the 20th, Anavitarte of the 31st, Harbison of the 15th, Payne of the 54th and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Jennifer Boger for her distinguished career in public service1 and her time in the Georgia State Senate Budget and Evaluation Office; and for other2 purposes.3 WHEREAS, Jennifer Boger has devoted an extraordinary 35-year career to public service,4 specializing in budgetary and financial analysis across many governmental institutions; and5 WHEREAS, she began her career with the Pennsylvania State Treas ury Department as an6 accounting assistant from 1991 to 1997, establishing her strong foundation in fiscal7 responsibility and public finance; and8 WHEREAS, she continued her service with the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations9 Committee as a budget analyst from 2000 to 2010, later advancing to senior budget analyst10 and continuing her work with the Pennsylvania Independent Fiscal Office; and11 WHEREAS, her leadership was further demonstrated in her role as director of budget and12 financial management with the Pennsylvania Auditor General from 2015 to 2019; and13 S. R. 1069 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4091 WHEREAS, she brought her extensive expertise to multiple agenci es, including the14 Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and the Administrative Offic es of Pennsylvania15 Courts, before joining the Georgia State Senate Budget and Evaluation Office in 2023 as a16 principal program analyst; and17 WHEREAS, throughout her tenure with the Georgia State Senate, Jennifer Boger has built18 strong and lasting relationships with members of the Senate, le adership, and colleagues,19 earning trust and respect through her professionalism and dedication; and20 WHEREAS, she is a proud graduate of Penn State University, hold ing both a Bachelor of21 Science and a Master of Public Administration; and22 WHEREAS, are greatest joys are her children—Jacob, Kennedy, and Rylan—who have been23 her constant sources of support and pride throughout her career; and24 WHEREAS, known for her sharp analytical skills, quick thinking, and unwavering25 commitment to government service, she has also become beloved among colleagues for her26 constant kindness and joyful spirit; and27 WHEREAS, as a resident of Atlanta who will soon be departing, h er presence and28 contributions will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of working alongside29 her.30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body31 recognize and commend Jennifer Boger for her outstanding career, her invaluable service to32 the Georgia State Senate, and her lasting impact on colleagues and the legislative process.33 S.
