26 LC 112 4103 House Resolution 1996 By: Representative Scott of the 76th A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Mr. Henry Harrison; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Mr. Henry Harrison, a cherished resident of Havana, Florida, departed this life2 on July 20 at the age of 100, marking the close of a century of life defined by faith, service,3 and devotion; and4 WHEREAS, Mr. Harrison was a lifelong resident of Gadsden County and a faithful member5 of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, where he demonstrat ed unwavering6 commitment to his faith and his community; and7 WHEREAS, he faithfully served as a custodian with the Leon County School Board, where8 his work contributed to the well-being and success of generations of students and educators;9 and10 WHEREAS, Mr. Harrison was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dorothy Harrison, and11 a loving father to his children, Henry Lawrence Harrison, Ricky Harrison, Larry Harrison,12 Robert Harrison, and Steven Harrison, as well as his daughters, Dorothy Ceasar, Linda13 Harrison, Andrea Harrison, and Diane Maxwell; and14 H. R. 1996 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4103 WHEREAS, he also leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Bessie Manuel, Mattie Brice,15 Letha Harrison, and Mary Jones, along with a host of grandchild ren, extended family16 members, and friends; and17 WHEREAS, his life was a shining example of strength, humility, and dedication, and his18 legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body honor and recognize the remarkable lif e and enduring legacy of21 Mr. Henry Harrison and extend their deepest and most sincere condolences to his family.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the24 family of Mr. Henry Harrison.25 H.
