26 LC 112 4090 Senate Resolution 1071 By: Senators Tillery of the 19th, Walker III of the 20th, Anavitarte of the 31st, Harbison of the 15th, Payne of the 54th and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Austin Trott on his 10-year work ann iversary with the1 Georgia State Senate; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Austin Trott has diligently served the Georgia State S enate for a decade,3 beginning his career in 2015 as a senate aide for Senator Hunte r Hill and continuing his4 tenure with the Senate Budget and Evaluation Office; and5 WHEREAS, through years of dedication and expertise, he has served as a principal program6 analyst and, now, as deputy director since 2023, demonstrating incredible leadership and7 commitment to the legislative process; and8 WHEREAS, a graduate of Georgia State University, he holds both a Bachelor of Arts and9 a Master of Arts in political science and government; and10 WHEREAS, throughout his career, Austin Trott has been recognize d for his ability to11 navigate the complexities of legislative sessions, often findin g himself at the center of12 high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure; and13 S. R. 1071 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4090 WHEREAS, he values collaboration and has fostered strong workin g relationships both14 within the Senate and with budgeting staff across other states, contributing to a collegial and15 effective work environment; and16 WHEREAS, he played a key role in the creation of the apprentice ship program at the17 Technical College System of Georgia, an accomplishment that reflects his commitment to18 workforce development and public service innovation; and19 WHEREAS, he is a complete joy to work with due to the guidance he offers to others and20 his ability to remain positive in all circumstances; and21 WHEREAS, he is supported by his family, including his wife, Amanda, and their son, Lucas,22 who are his pride and joy.23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body24 recognize and commend Austin Trott for his 10 years of outstanding service to the Georgia25 State Senate and his continued leadership within the Senate Budget and Evaluation Office.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed27 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Austin Trott.28 S.
