Philip Randolph Elementary School's 2025-2026 Teacher of1 the Year; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young3 people, and Patti Whaley exemplifies the selfless dedication that is characteristic of our finest4 teachers; and5 WHEREAS, Patti Whaley is a highly praised educator at A. Philip Randolph Elementary6 School who tirelessly directs an extraordinary amount of time a nd talent toward guiding7 students to a brighter future; and8 WHEREAS, a two-time Teacher of the Year recipient, she has earned the respect of her peers9 and colleagues through her innovative teaching practices, student-centered approaches, and10 her lifelong commitment to encouraging and fostering education; and11 WHEREAS, Patti Whaley has earned distinction for teaching excellence as a result of her12 dedication to her students and her profession and has been hono red as A. Philip Randolph13 Elementary School's 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year; and14 H. R. 1972 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4116 WHEREAS, in recognition of such remarkable contributions to the education and welfare15 of Georgia's students, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the16 extraordinary accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body commend Patti Whaley, A. Philip Randolph Elementary School's19 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year, and express their most sincere b est wishes for continued20 success.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Patti23 Whaley.24 H.
