26 LC 129 1501 House Resolution 1989 By: Representatives Bell of the 75 th, Adeyina of the 110 th, Carter of the 93 rd, Paris of the 142nd, and Myles of the 126th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Healthcare & Emergency Solutions, LLC, for its outstanding1 service and impact; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Healthcare & Emergency Solutions, LLC, (HCES) is a Geo rgia-founded3 emergency management and healthcare consulting firm that has distinguished itself through4 innovative service and commitment to public health; and5 WHEREAS, HCES was founded by Dr. Bruce A. James II, a Bainbridge, Georgia, native and6 pharmacist by training, whose vision and leadership have driven the company's mission to7 address healthcare disparities and improve outcomes for underserved communities; and8 WHEREAS, through its work, HCES has played a critical role in s upporting healthcare9 delivery and emergency response efforts across the United States, particularly in the wake10 of natural disasters and unforeseen public health crises; and11 WHEREAS, the company operates in a specialized and essential niche, serving and assisting12 tens of thousands of Americans each year by providing timely, e ffective, and life-saving13 healthcare solutions; and14 H. R. 1989 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1501 WHEREAS, Dr. James and HCES have demonstrated a deep and ongoin g commitment to15 addressing healthcare disparities in rural communities, working to close gaps in access and16 ensure that all Georgians receive equitable care regardless of geography; and17 WHEREAS, beyond its operational success, HCES actively invests in the future of Georgia18 by providing scholarships to secondary school students and supporting organizations such19 as the Emerging 100 of Atlanta, thereby promoting educational a ccess, mentorship, and20 leadership development; and21 WHEREAS, HCES has also shown strong civic engagement and community partnership by22 supporting initiatives such as the Georgia Legislative Black Ca ucus Heritage Weekend,23 contributing to the advancement of culture, service, and commun ity empowerment24 throughout the state; and25 WHEREAS, as a proud Georgia-based business entering its fifth year of operation, HCES26 represents the entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and service-driven values that strengthen the27 State of Georgia.28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that29 the members of this body commend Healthcare & Emergency Solutio ns, LLC, for its30 exceptional contributions to healthcare, emergency management, and community service,31 and recognize its positive impact on the lives of countless individuals across Georgia and the32 nation.33 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this body extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Bruce34 A.
